Book Review: "Vernon Subutex Vol III"

Book #18 of #annareadsbooks2017, the summer edition. 📖📖📖 "Vernon Subutex Vol III" by Virginie Despentes. The third and final and quite devastating entry of the series. What can I say that I haven't already in my reviews of the first two? It's fantastic. I don't usually read what everybody else is reading, not because I'm a snob, but because I'm just not organized enough, so it was quite fun to be reading the "novel of the summer" along with about a gazillion other people. It felt current and if nothing else, this is the most accurate snapshot of contemporary Parisian characters I've ever encountered (putting aside the plot). I'll cherish it for that, as much as anything else.
